Kaufman, a highly respected Cyber Technical Advisor and retired USAF warrior, has joined Namauu Technological & Industrial’s (NTI) Advisory Board. With over 41 years of expertise in information technology and computer network operations, Mr. Kaufman is renowned for his innovative technology solutions that continue to protect and defend DoD and Federal Government networks.
Rob's career began in 1982 as a commissioned officer, serving in various critical roles, including command, computer network defense operations, and as a USAFA professor and coach. After retiring from active duty, he transitioned to the USAF Civil Service, where he led teams in operational support, mission support functions, and information operations. Notably, he served as Deputy Director of the 318th Cyberspace Operations Group, overseeing capability production, training, testing, and cyber range operations for the Air Force and joint warfighters. His exceptional contributions to cybersecurity were recognized with his induction into the San Antonio Cyber Hall of Honor in 2018. Mr. Kaufman is a published author of numerous cyber-related works and also serves as a Professor of Practice, Information Systems and Cyber Security at the University of Texas (UTSA).
