Some of our awesome teammates shared their personal reflections on what Memorial Day means to them and how they honor the day of remembrance.

Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, began after the Civil War as a way to honor those who had died in military service. Over the years, it has evolved into a national day of remembrance, marked by ceremonies, parades, and moments of silence to honor and remember all who have sacrificed their lives for our country. Today, it is a time for families and communities to come together, not only to remember the fallen but also to celebrate the values of freedom and democracy they fought to protect.
