NTI is proud to congratulate Christopher Bennett, our Director of Talent Acquisition, for being recognized with the prestigious 2024 Emerging Leaders Award in the Emerging Leadership category by AFCEA International. This award honors exceptional individuals who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a passion for service—qualities Chris exemplifies daily.
Since joining NTI in January 2024, Chris has brought unmatched energy and commitment to our team. His dedication to professional development and community engagement, however, extends far beyond his time with NTI. Chris has been an active member of Alamo AFCEA Chapter since 2019, where his journey began with volunteering to help check in attendees at the Chapter’s monthly luncheons. Reflecting on his experience, Chris shared,
"AFCEA has had the greatest impact on my professional development within my entire career. As someone who had no prior services or technical experience, AFCEA has given me the experience and knowledge that has turned me into the professional individual that I am today."
Over the past five years, Chris’s contributions to the Alamo Chapter have been remarkable. His roles and achievements include:
- Serving on the Emerging Leaders Planning Committee and the STEM Education and Grants Committee, advancing programs that inspire the next generation in science, technology, engineering, and math.
- Playing a key role in the 2021 Peer Mentor Protégé Night, including identifying sponsors and creating a valuable networking event for Emerging Leaders.
- Managing and coordinating stage support for the past five Alamo ACE conferences, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Taking on the role of Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Programs, where for the past 18 months he has worked alongside the VP of Programs to identify speakers, coordinate logistics, and execute engaging events. Chris attributes his passion for volunteering and professional growth to the incredible relationships he has built within the organization. “I enjoy helping and working within this organization because of the people I get to meet, the relationships I have built, and the ability to grow and learn as a professional,” he said.
As NTI’s Director of Talent Acquisition, Chris brings the same dedication and leadership to his role, ensuring NTI remains a leader in attracting and retaining top talent.
